When used in Lightning Protection Zones Concept at the LPZ 1-2 boundaries, PIIIM PV 1000 Vseries Surge Arrester equipotentially bonds positive and negative busbars of photovoltaic systems and eliminates transient overvoltage originated in the course of atmospheric discharges or switching processes. Failure of disconnectors can be indicated both, visually and remotely.
